His feature debut SAKWA (2008) won the FIPRESCI Prize at the 30th Toronto International Film Festival and the New Screenwriter Award at the 53rd San Sebastián International Film Festival. JUVENILE OFFENDER (2012) was Korea's official submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and earned the Jury Special Prize at the Tokyo International Film Festival. His latest feature VIRUS opened theatrically in May 2025.장편 데뷔작 「사과」(2008)로 제30회 토론토국제영화제 국제영화비평가연맹상과 제53회 산세바스티안국제영화제 신인각본상을 수상했고, 「범죄소년」(2012)은 아카데미 외국어영화상 한국 공식 출품작으로 선정되어 도쿄국제영화제 심사위원특별상을 받았습니다. 최신작 「바이러스」는 2025년 5월 극장 개봉했습니다.
